Around Oberjoch, 90 km of cross-country skiing trails await you – for both skating and classic styles – leading you from Oberjoch to the neighboring Tannheimer Tal/Tirol.
Winter- & snowshoe hiking
Experience winter at its most beautiful and explore nature in quiet footsteps.
A network of 50 kilometers of well-groomed winter hiking trails covers Bad Hindelang and its districts, as well as the surrounding area. Here, everyone can find something suitable, from leisurely strolls on flat terrain to hikes up high with breathtaking views. Whether through forests, over meadows, or past frozen waterfalls and lakes, every heart beats faster while winter hiking.
For those who want to leave the cleared winter hiking trails, trading their hiking boots for snowshoes is an option. Then, it's time to trek through the snowy winter landscape and admire beautiful mountain panoramas on gentle summit paths.
Sledging
Our youngest guests can whiz down a small slope right at the slopes of the feeder in the town center.
Pure tobogganing fun awaits you on the descents of the Hornbahn Hindelang: Take the 8-seater gondola comfortably up high and enjoy the magnificent view of the snow-covered landscape. Afterwards, speed down one of the three toboggan runs (each 3.5 kilometers long).
You can rent sledges from us at the 'Löwen.'
From Oberjoch, Unterjoch, and Hinterstein, you can also hike to a hut with a sled and, after a stop at the Buchelalpe, Hirschalpe, or Schwarzenberghütte, sled back to the starting point. Tip: You can also rent a sled at the Schwarzenberghütte.
Von Oberjoch, Unterjoch und Hinterstein können Sie auch mit dem Schlitten zu einer Hütte wandern und nach einer Einkehr auf der Buchelalpe, der Hirschalpe oder Schwarzenberghütte wieder zum Ausgangpunkt rodeln. Tipp: Auf der Schwarzenberghütte könnt Sie auch einen Rodel ausleihen.
