The “Löwen” has been owned by the Brutscher family for almost 120 years and we have been running the “Löwen” for the past five generations. We are a family company, this is something we are proud of and we care about!
Stefan has a special connection to the history of our hotel. It is very important to him to preserve the many stories that the “Löwen” has written over generations and to keep its traditions alive.
Outside the hotel, Stefan is also deeply connected to his home region. He is a member of the Jodlergruppe Hindelang and serves as chairman of two local associations in Oberjoch. His voluntary commitment reflects his strong connection to the region and its traditions.

Our senior hostess, Evi, is the heart and soul of the Löwen. With great passion, many years of experience, and an open ear for both guests and family, she continues to shape the hotel to this day. Some responsibilities are still very much in her hands – after all, as she says with a twinkle in her eye, she wants to “stay fit.”
In her free time, Evi also likes to stay active. She enjoys hiking and taking in the beautiful Allgäu countryside – these days, she prefers more leisurely trails rather than the highest mountain peaks, but she still lives by her motto: “If you rest, you rust.” She is always on the move and brings her positive energy to the Löwen every day.

Alexandra is Stefan’s wife and supports the team at the front desk as well as with administrative and accounting tasks. She is also always happy to lend a hand wherever support is needed.
With her calm and friendly nature, she brings a sense of ease even on the busiest days. She especially enjoys treating our guests to her homemade cakes, lovingly prepared with care and sure to make their afternoons a little sweeter.

Klaus offers our guests a special opportunity to relax and unwind. As a qualified physiotherapist, osteopath, and naturopath, he runs his own practice in Füssen and also brings his many years of experience to the Löwen.
During your stay, you can enjoy soothing massages and individually tailored treatments designed to help you relax and recharge your energy.
In his free time, Klaus is a passionate sportsman and nature lover. Through his professional work, he also regularly treats athletes and works with various national teams.

Kathrin is an important part of our team as Hotel Director and Assistant to the General Management. She takes care of the many small and big things that come with the day-to-day running of the hotel, always keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
Whether it’s organization, coordination, supporting our team and guests, or taking care of the processes behind the scenes – Kathrin is always there wherever she is needed. With great dedication, a strong sense of responsibility, and an open ear, she works closely with our team to make sure everything runs smoothly throughout the hotel.
